I have a 07 bmw with a codes 2ef7,2ef4 - Answered by a verified BMW Mechanic. Those codes are both for the thermostat, so it likely needs to be replaced, or possibly the temp sensor is bad or there is internal leakage in the Rad. On this year of car I would suspect just the thermo is bad.
